The recordings of this album started two years ago at Music-A-Matic studio in Gothenburg with Chips Kiesbye and Henryk Lipp. We continued doing the add-on recordings at Planet Of Noise, the studio that Chips have in his basement. But due to Covid 19 everything took a lot of time and Chips were producing some other artists at the same time. When Chips had done the producing, Henryk took over and did the mixings of the songs.

The production and mixing were finished in October 2021 by Chips and Henryk, and we were very satisfied with the result, those guys really found the best in the band and Cat and the Underdogs were very proud of their recordings.

We were contacted by Dala Destroi Records (DDR), a small label and a fantastic record store in Ludvika, Sweden, and we closed a deal of releasing Punk Rock Overdrive in December 2021. But due to long turnaround times at the record plant, we were hoping for a spring release, but it took over six months.

But now Punk Rock Overdrive is ready for a summer release and pre-order, 300 copies i multi coloured splatter vinyl and 100 copies sold here, with an exclusive numbered fine print.
